It's no surprise that pinups love cars, to be honest who doesn't! Pinup goes hand-in-hand with car culture and you'll find most car shows and events support pinups by hosting pageants. It's a great chance to get some photos with cars and pinups in the same place, and you'll be spoilt for choice! But, there's an unsaid etiquette that everyone (not just pinups) should follow when at events. Remember your dealing with someones pride and joy, a car they may have restored themselves over years, maybe passed on from their parents, a car they have saved for years to purchase, that costs tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars. H ere's some tips to be prepared and help keep that anxiety at bay, because you want to be looking and feeling your absolute best! Homework Preparation for a bathtub photo shoot Do your homework! It will pay off in your photos. This means lots of research before booking a photographer, check their portfolio, ensure that their style is what your looking for, don't just assume all photographers shoot pinup. Agree on a basic concept prior to your shoot; plan your outfits, props, set a date, time, location and pay your deposit (make sure you get a receipt!). Keep in contact with your photographer, and reconfirm at least one week before your booking.
